February is a Month of Appreciation
This year more than ever, it’s important to take some time to appreciate the wonderful people in our lives and community. Here at CloudHawk, we’ve decided to make February a month of appreciation for those in the Transportation Industry. We may not realize it, but there is a constant network of people supporting our communities behind the scenes, helping us to thrive despite this difficult time.
Keeping the supply chain running through difficult times
A year ago, when the global pandemic reached North America, the trucking industry was faced with great uncertainty. While trucking was identified as an essential service, there were still questions and gray areas in terms of when and how businesses could proceed. The trucking industry had to adapt in ways that we never would have thought imaginable, and many came up with solutions to cope with less than favourable circumstances.
Truckers, dispatchers and other essential workers have been key to keeping supply chains running smoothly, so the rest of us have access to the goods that we need. They have continually risked their health and well-being to ensure that the world can keep moving despite the challenges.
This year it’s even more important to take the time to reach out to the important people in our lives and tell them we appreciate them, especially those people that work tirelessly to make sure our communities can function, even when we’re in lockdown.
To everyone in the transportation industry, we are beyond grateful for your sacrifice and hard work. Without essential workers like you, we don’t know where we would be.
